Gait analysis:
This allows us to view extra slow motion video footage of a patient walking or running.
We can use this to diagnose functional problems of the foot and lower limbs, which may not be apparent when walking and running is viewed normally.
As seen in still frame of digital footage, deviation in vertical line plotted on back of heel indicates excessive pronation of the foot,which can lead to many lower limb complaints. This can be functionally corrected with a professionally prescribed customised foot orthotic.
